The data is stored for security reasons, such as investigating misuse and preventing tampering. If data needs to be retained for evidence purposes, it is exempt from deletion until the incident is fully resolved.

  • Cookies & Encryption

Our platform uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our services user-friendly and to enable certain features. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit. If you do not want this, you can set your browser to notify you about the use of cookies, and you can allow them only in individual cases. Disabling cookies may severely limit the functionality of our platform. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator, SSL encryption is used. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

  • Embedded Content from Other Websites

Posts on this website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.

    1. YouTube with Enhanced Privacy

This website integrates videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this site before they view the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the enhanced privacy mode. Thus, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video. As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. In the process, the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Furthermore, YouTube may store various cookies on your device after starting a video or use similar recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting). This allows YouTube to collect information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraud attempts. If a YouTube video is started, further data processing operations may be triggered, over which we have no control. The use of YouTube is in the interest of providing an attractive presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time. For more information about YouTube's privacy practices, please see their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

    2. Web Fonts

This site uses web fonts provided by Fonticons, Inc. for uniform font representation. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, your browser must establish a connection to the respective provider's servers. As a result, the provider becomes aware that your IP address was used to access this website. The use of web fonts is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the font on our website. If consent has been requested (e.g., consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer. For more information about Font Awesome web fonts, please visit https://fontawesome.com/privacy and Cloudflare, Inc.'s privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

  • Storage Duration

If your personal data is processed in our accounting system, as in the case of a contract, it is stored based on statutory retention obligations until the end of the specified retention periods. According to applicable tax regulations, the retention period is 7 years. For product liability purposes, we store selected data (name, address, goods, and date) for 10 years. User data on our platform is stored until the user requests deletion. In general, all data is removed no later than 10 years after the last activity on our platform.

  • Processing Purposes

We process the data you provide primarily for the purpose of fulfilling the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We also have legal obligations to process data, such as based on applicable tax, corporate law, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering regulations. Data that you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name and email address, is processed based on your consent for customer care, our own advertising purposes, such as sending offers, brochures, and newsletters (in paper and electronic form), and to reference the customer relationship or former business relationship (reference notice).

  • Data Disclosure and Order Data Processing

The branches of our affiliated companies and the extended corporate group, as well as external service providers, are located both within and outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). We may also use an order data processor in your case for data processing. We share your data with the following recipients or categories of recipients, for example: accountants, legal representatives, banks, subcontractors, suppliers, affiliated companies. Your data is also transmitted and processed in countries outside the European Union or the EEA. This primarily concerns the United States of America and the United Kingdom and only takes place with your written consent. The data transmission is based on order data processing agreements that we have concluded with the respective data processors.

  • User Rights

You have the following rights regarding the use of your personal data:

    1. Right to Information (Art 15 GDPR)

You can request information at any time about whether and what personal data concerning you is being processed by us. You also have the right to know the purposes for which the processing is being carried out, where the data originated, to which recipients we transmit the data, and how long we store it.

    2. Right to Rectification (Art 16 GDPR)

If you find that the personal data we process is incorrect, you can request the rectification of these data at any time. If data is incomplete, you are entitled to request its completion.

    3. Right to Erasure (Art 17 GDPR)

If you believe that processing your personal data is no longer necessary or that there is no longer a legal basis for its processing or we process the data unlawfully for other reasons, you can request the deletion of this data.

    4. Right to Restriction of Data Use (Art 18 GDPR)

If we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you may request the restriction of the use of this data as an alternative to deletion. This is particularly the case if you dispute the accuracy of your data or have lodged an objection to data processing.

    5. Right to Data Portability (Art 20 GDPR)

The right to data portability allows you to receive the personal data we process based on a contract or consent in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You can also request that we transfer this data directly to another controller.

    6. Right to Object (Art 21 GDPR)

You can object to the processing of your data if there are reasons arising from your particular situation that make the use of your data inadmissible. If we use your personal data for direct marketing, you have an unconditional right to object.

    7. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority (Art 77 GDPR)

If you believe that your rights concerning your personal data have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. If you have questions or uncertainties regarding your rights, we are happy to assist you at the following email address: [email protected]. If you wish to request rectification, blocking, deletion, or access to the personal data stored about you, or if you have questions regarding the collection, processing, or use of your personal data, or if you wish to revoke consents granted, please contact the following email address: [[email protected]].

  • Data Protection

To protect your data against loss, destruction, access, alteration, or distribution by unauthorized persons, we implement technical and organizational measures. These measures are regularly evaluated and adjusted according to technological progress. However, despite extensive measures, we cannot guarantee complete protection of your data.

  • Changes to the Privacy Policy

Changes in legislation or internal company processes may require adjustments to this privacy policy, which we reserve the right to make. We ask that you review this privacy policy regularly.
